Hats off and Special Thanks to our Year End Award Sponsor Contributor Jen Springer! Here's a bit about Jen who is a new member to our club:

Born and raised in Chicago, Jen Springer moved to Fargo less than 2 years ago. Her passion is to teach people natural options when they would to increase wellness for themselves, their family, and even their horses. Her specialties are weight management, essential oils, and adrenal fatigue. Ask Jen about classes she teaches in the FM area if you're looking to shake weight, know how to have the best smelling first aid kit, or ways to banish the pre-show jitters for you and your horse!

You may also contact her at Jen@JenSpringer.com . Jen hosts many educational programs and has a website.

When the class list committee met last winter to put together the show bill we used in 2011, they wanted to try and draw more competitors from other clubs, like 4H and Posse.  Western dressage was a big hit this year, and we look forward to having it again next year.  The average scores for western dressage were relatively high compared to the regular USDF tests. Our members did a wonderful job of introducing us to this new discipline.  USDF is putting together some judging guidelines this winter, so our schooling show judges will have a better idea as to what to look for in these tests.
